Students drafted their personal narratives last week and now they are starting to revise. Today, they worked on revising the hook. To check in, ask your students to define "hook" and tell its purpose to an essay. 10/31 - Inserting dialogue 11/1 - Adding sensory details and figurative language 11/2 - Including transitions 11/3 - Independent reading day. Please remind your students to read 30 minutes a day and to bring their independent reading books on Friday.
